Which TVET Colleges Are Open For 2023 In Mpumalanga?: Opening Date for Applications
In the academic year, students within Mpumalanga are allowed to submit their application to any of the Tvet Colleges in Mpumalanga. In South Africa, there are three TVET colleges in Mpumalanga and they are; Gert Sibande TVET College, Nkangala TVET College, and Ehlanzeni TVET College. The TVET Colleges strives to provide high-quality instruction and training so that students may pursue education throughout their life. They provide a huge selection of online learning programs and courses.
During the academic year, the colleges open the application portal for students to submit their required information to the institution they wish to apply to within the academic period. Who qualifies to attend a TVET College?
TVET Colleges, which are part of the Higher Education system, admit students who have completed Grades 9, 10, 11, or 12 in high school. University post-graduates can also enrol in TVET College courses to gain further practical experience. What is the benefit of TVET in youth skills?
To study at a Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college, you must have the following:
- Be at least 16 years or older
- Have a Grade 9 Qualification or ABET Level 4 Certificate

All qualified applicants wanting to study at the College must make sure they have the following available before attempting to apply:
- A certified copy of your ID
- certified copies of the ID of the Parent/Legal Guardian
- Latest school results
- Copy Certified of latest school report/Grade 9 or Higher
- Proof of Residence
- A unique Email address and cellphone number
Foreign students

- SAQA-approved foreign qualifications
- Proof of medical insurance or cover

- Birth Certificate/Identity Document (Proof of New ID/Passport Application)
- Certificates/Qualifications
- Recent Academic Achievements
- Other account statements/billing documents for municipalities (not older than 3 months)
- A current study permit (Foreign national students)
- The Evaluation Certificate of the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) (foreign qualifications).
