Upington College is one of the five campuses that make up the Northern Cape Rural TVET College that offers post-Matric and Pre-matric NATED, NCV, Skilled and learnership part-time and Full-time courses under the sponsorship of the Department Of Higher Education (DHET) of South Africa to prepare students for their careers ahead and for the developement of the country.

The College offers qualifications for Business Studies and Engineering courses; Below is a list of courses offered at Upington College;

The Upoington College houses about 700 full-time students and provides hostel accommodation for 100 residents, the college is made up of Four well-equipped workshops, electrical, automotive, fabrication and fitting & turning, Well maintained sports grounds: cricket, soccer and netball and Resource Centre and Office simulation room. Two Heads of Department: Business and Engineering, Two senior lecturers and Twenty lecturers. The Campus has qualified lecturer subject specialists, willing to walk the extra mile.

Upington College Admission Conditions

• Pre-Matric Business Studies (NCV) : Minimum: Grade 9 or equivalent required
• Pre-Matric Engineering (NCV) : Minimum: Grade 9 or equivalent required
• Post-Matric Business Studies (Nated) : Minimum: Grade 12 or equivalent
• Post-Matric Engineering (Nated): Minimum: Grade 12 with Maths & Science
