NC(V) Programs (level 2-4)
- Grade 9 Certificate for Level 2
- Grade 12 certificate for level 4
- Mathematics and English Proficiency based on the course
Report 191 Programs
- N4 admission: Grade 12 or equivalent
- N6 Admission: Completion of N5 in the same field
Skills Programs and Learnerships
- Minimum Grade 9 or 10 (depending on the program)
- Some courses also require work experience.

South West Gauteng TVET College Online Application Date
The South West Gauteng TVET College will be opening for applications for the 2026-2027 academic year from the 1st of September 2026 to the 30th of September 2026. Applications should be submitted to the college before the application deadline because any submission that is sent after the application period will be rejected.
South West Gauteng TVET College Online Application Fee
You do not need to pay any fee when applying. The application is completely free, which makes it easier for everyone to apply without worrying about costs. Simply prepare your documents and submit your application when the portal opens.
How To Apply Online To South West TVET Gauteng College
SWGC online application 2026-2027 is open to all prospective learners, both SA nationals and international students, to apply for a course of their choice:
Step 1: Select your preferred program of study
- Application forms can be obtained at any of the College campuses or on the College’s official website.
Step 2: Application Forms 2026
- Hard-copy application forms must be completed using a black pen, with clear printing.
- You must sign your application form. Application forms that are not signed will not be processed.
Step 3: Supporting documentation
The College requires all applications to be accompanied by supporting documents. The following documents must be sent with the completed application forms:
- a certified copy of the most recent qualification/results
- Identity document certified copy
- If you have a handicap or ongoing medical condition that requires you to request special help from the College, please include a medical statement from a registered doctor.
