Stigma Of Tvet Colleges

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges have often been misunderstood in the past, with many people seeing them as a second choice compared to universities. Tvet colleges experience severe significant stigmas:

• To begin with, unlike other technical institutes, Tvet colleges lack a suitable curriculum. As a result, kids could struggle to follow a flow.
• The logistical difficulties one must endure as a result of inadequate finance for such colleges is another stigma attached to Tvet colleges.
• Since graduates from Tvet colleges typically lack a genuine graduate degree compared to those from technical institutes, they are frequently not viewed favourably when compared to degree holders.
