The Richtek Tvet Campus of UMfolozi TVET College is one of nine public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges in KwaZulu-Natal, and one of only 50 in the country. Richtek College Campus is to provide high-quality, flexible, and market-responsive programs to aid in South Africa’s economic transition.

Richtek TVET College has officially opened its online application period for the 2026–2027 academic year. Prospective students are encouraged to prepare early, as the application window begins in March and closes in April. To ensure a successful application, it’s essential to understand the step-by-step process and the specific documents required during registration.

Prospective students to apply online using these steps

• Have all the required documents saved on your device in pdf format
• Click on apply to a link to the application portal
• On the left-hand side of the screen: Available courses: Click on Select A Course
• Complete all the information in respect of the course you want to apply for.
• You will need to insert a username and password. Your username will be your ID number
• Password: needs to be 6 characters with a Capital letter a number and a special character.
• Please write down your password as you will need this to access your portal to check on your application status
• Complete all the screens on the applications portal
• Once all the screens are completed you will be asked to upload your documents
• If all the information has been correctly filled in, you can click on submit button to submit your applications
