NATED programmes are delivered under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and Training and quality assured by Umalusi. These programmes are offered in both Engineering and Business Studies. Engineering is offered as trimester courses (3 months per level) and Business Studies as semester courses (6 months per level). KZN TVET College Online Application Process 2026/2027

The online application process is given below. Follow it to apply:

STEP 1: CAREER GUIDANCE EXPLORATION

Before you apply, you must complete the career guidance assessment to help you choose the right course.

Register by clicking on the “First time here?” button.
Complete all the activities in the “Pre-entry Information” folder.
Click on each section and finish all the screening questions, even if you are unsure of the answers.
Remember to click “Finish” after every assessment.

Important Notes:

This assessment is compulsory for all applicants.
You may still choose your own course after the assessment.
You will need to sign a form acknowledging your personal course choice.
Your report can be viewed and saved for your records.
Answer all questions honestly and do not allow anyone else to complete the screening for you. Incorrect information may lead to being placed in the wrong course and affect your studies.

STEP 2: PLACEMENT ASSESSMENT

After completing the career guidance step, log in to your profile and complete the literacy, numeracy, and course selection assessments.

This assessment is compulsory.
It is not a pass or fail test.
Do not let anyone else complete it for you.
The results help the college support your academic success.

STEP 3: ONLINE APPLICATION

This is the final step of your registration process. Without it, your application cannot be assessed.

Complete all required sections of the form.
Upload your certified documents in PDF format when requested.
Incomplete applications will not be processed.
Click the “Submit” button once you have finished.
