Tshwane South College is one of the 50 TVET Colleges in South Africa. As a public institution, TSC and her counterparts’ fundamental mandate is to indiscriminately equip South Africa’s young people with vocational and occupationally directed skills at an intermediate level of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), Tshwane South TVET College (TSC) is a registered public Technical and Vocational Education and Training College in terms of the Continuous Education Training Act (CET Act No.16 of 2006). TSC is a merger of three former Technical Colleges, namely Atteridgeville, Centurion and Pretoria West, as Gazetted in 2001(Notice 7311, Gazette No 240 of December 2001). In 2006, TSC gained its fourth Campus (Odi Campus) from the Orbit TVET College as a result of the rezoning of the Provincial borders.

As a public institution, TSC and its counterparts’ fundamental mandate is to indiscriminately equip South Africa’s young people with vocational and occupationally directed skills at the intermediate level of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), thus contributing to the eradication of inequality, poverty, and unemployment of the people of South Africa.

Grade 12/N3/NSC

Tshwane South TVET College Admission Requirements for 2026

Students applying are to provide the following documents:

• Certified copy of ID/birth certificate.
• Certified copy of senior certificate or equivalent. If still in grade 12, the marks obtained in grade 11, together with the most recent grade 12 marks
• Copy of certified Parent/Guardian’s ID
• An email address as well as a cellphone number.

International Candidates

• Certified copy of passport
• Study permit
• Evaluation certificates from the South African Qualifications Authority.

Tshwane South TVET College Application Process

Step 1.

Choose the course you want to enrol in, then ask about career counselling.

• You can apply online or by completing an application that is available on all our campuses and at the administrative centre.

Step 2.

• Pay a non-refundable registration fee, and ensure that you meet the minimum requirements before applying. Payment details are on the application form. This doesn’t guarantee your admission.

Step 3.

• Submit the form to the campus you wish to study at, together with your certified ID copy, latest school results, ID copy of parent/guardian, and proof of payment.
  If applying online, you can submit your documents electronically.

Step 4.

• Foreign candidates have the responsibility of evaluating their qualifications with SAQA before applying.
  No foreign students will be accepted if this is not done.

Step 5.

• Once your application has been submitted, the college will inform you if you have been admitted, and you will be required to write a placement test. Thereafter, you are expected to attend classes.
