Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) is one of the 50 public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges in South Africa that operate under the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). As part of the eight TVET colleges located in Gauteng, CJC plays a vital role in providing accessible, affordable, and career-focused education to students in and around Johannesburg. The college is dedicated to equipping learners with both academic knowledge and practical skills that prepare them for the workplace or for further studies in their chosen fields.
CJC has a strong presence in the city, with eight campuses strategically positioned within proximity to one another. These campuses include Ellis Park, Parktown, Alexandra, Riverlea, Langlaagte, Smit Street, and Troyville. All campuses are located within a radius of about 10 kilometers from the Central Office, which is based in Parktown next to the well-known Rodean School. This central positioning makes the college easily accessible to students coming from different parts of Johannesburg and the surrounding areas.
