Goldfield TVET College is one of the 50 public Colleges for Technical and Vocational Education and Training administered in terms of the Continuing Education and Training Act, No 16 of 2006. The College provides technical and vocational education and training programmes to learners who have completed at least Grade 9 at the school level and to Grade 12 learners who have not achieved university entry certificates but would like to further their education. In general, the College provides three main categories of qualifications and part-qualifications, viz, National Certificate Vocational Level 2 – 4, Report 191 certificate commonly known as Nated (N1 – N6) in Engineering Studies and N4–N6 in Business Studies programmes, and occupational qualifications mainly through learnerships and skills programmes.
