CN Phatudi Campus is one of the main delivery sites of Sekhukhune TVET College, located in Praktiseer Township outside Burgersfort town in the Fetakgomo Tubatse Local Municipality. Formerly known as the College of Education, the campus is situated about 17 kilometers north of Burgersfort, a town often referred to as the Platinum City because it is surrounded by several mines. CN Phatudi Campus plays a vital role in providing accessible education and skills training to the local community, empowering students with the knowledge and experience needed to build successful careers.
The campus offers a variety of academic programs in both Engineering and Business Studies, including NCV Levels 2, 3, and 4, as well as NATED (Report 191) courses from N4 to N6. These courses are designed to prepare students for employment or further education by combining theoretical knowledge with practical training. CN Phatudi Campus also provides modern and well-resourced facilities such as a student library, computer laboratory, simulation center, and practical workshops that support effective learning and hands-on experience.
In addition, the campus hosts the Limpopo Regional offices of the Mining Qualification Authority (MQA) and the Wholesale and Retail SETA (W&RSETA), which strengthens its connection to industry and workforce development. Course duration is a semester per level (Jan-Jun and Jul-Nov)
Engineering
- N1 Civil: Grade 12 with either a fail in maths or a pass in maths literacy
- N1 Electrical & Mechanical: Grade 12 with a pass in maths
- N4: N3 or a Technical Senior Certificate
- N5: N4 or an equivalent qualification
- N6: N5 or an equivalent qualification
Course duration is a trimester per level (Jan-Apr, May-Aug, and Sep-Nov)
NCV
LEVEL 2: BUSINESS STUDIES
- Gr 11 passed the report
LEVEL 2: ENGINEERING STUDIES
- Gr 11 report with Maths
LEVEL 3
- Passed Level 2 (At least 5 subjects – must enroll for supplementary)
- Students can only enroll in 7 subjects in a year
LEVEL 4
- Passed Level 2 in all 7 subjects
- Passed Level 3 (At least 5 subjects – must enroll for supplementary)
