How to Get a Diploma After N6?
They send your results to the DHET when you have successfully finished the NATED N6 National Certificate. You receive your NATED N6 National Certificate from them once the DHET has given their approval, and they issue it to you.
You must then complete 18 months of paid work experience before receiving a NATED N6 National Diploma. Following completion of this, the DHET itself grants you the Diploma Qualification.
How to Get A N6 Certificate?
Studying for it earns you a NATED National Certificate. Subjects are the foundation of every N6 Qualification. There are tests for every subject. The DHET has assigned three (3) open-book tasks and a final test.
To earn a NATED N6 National Certificate Qualification, you must complete these exams. The following are the benchmark scores for your exams:
- 50% and higher gives you a pass for assignments
- 50% and higher gives you a pass for final examinations

Your NATED N6 National Certificate Qualification is awarded to you after the results have been approved.
How to Get A N6 Diploma?
After completing 18 months of work experience, you are awarded a NATED N6 National Diploma.
The NATED N6 National Diploma does not contain evaluations, in contrast to the NATED N6 National Certificate.
Only 18 months of work experience are needed to qualify for this position.
You can complete the job experience in the following manner:
- Sign up at the iWIL website.
- The Department of Higher Education and Training created the iWIL website.
- The website’s goal is to assist students in locating volunteer opportunities so they can obtain experience.
- After registering, a company will offer you a job where you can finish your work experience.
- You will receive a logbook to fill out during your work experience.
- They will send you a logbook without you having to request one.
- The logbook must have the manager of the company approving your work experience’s signature.
- Return the logbook to them, and they’ll forward it for approval to the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
- Your NATED N6 National Diploma will be sent to you once the DHET has approved your logbook.
Note that there is no logbook needed for the Educare NATED N6 National Diploma.
