As the 2026–2027 academic year approaches, public TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) colleges across South Africa are now actively accepting applications, affording ambitious learners a golden opportunity to enroll in programs that equip them with in-demand job-ready skills. In this expansive intake cycle, approximately 50 registered public TVET colleges serving over 360 campuses nationwide are participating. Whether you are drawn to technical disciplines, healthcare, IT, business studies, hospitality, or agricultural training, chances are there’s a TVET college providing a reshaped program to match your vocational interests, and with trimester systems in place, many also provide multiple entry points in January, April/May, or August/September.
