List Of Nated Courses 2026

As South Africa continues to invest in skills development and practical education, the National Accredited Technical Education Diploma (NATED) programmes remain a crucial pathway for students seeking both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training. Designed by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), NATED courses are structured to prepare students for the demands of the workplace by combining academic learning with industry-relevant experience.

These courses are mainly offered at Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges across the country, and they cater to a broad range of interests and career paths. Whether you are passionate about engineering, business, tourism, or public management, there is likely a NATED course that aligns with your goals. Generally, the programmes are divided into N1 to N6 levels, with the possibility of progressing toward a National Diploma after completing 18 months of relevant practical experience.

In 2026, students can expect a continued emphasis on both quality and accessibility within the NATED system. With a focus on addressing unemployment and bridging the gap between education and the job market, these courses are not only relevant but necessary in today’s fast-changing economy. They provide learners with an alternative route to traditional university degrees while still opening doors to meaningful employment or further studies.
