Ekurhuleni East TVET College (EEC) is gearing up for the 2026 academic year with a broad and diverse catalogue of courses aimed at empowering students with skills that match both their interests and the demands of today’s job market. Whether you are fresh from school, seeking to deepen your knowledge, or wanting to pick up a practical skill, EEC has offerings to suit you. With multiple campuses across Gauteng, including Springs, Benoni, Brakpan, Daveyton, Kwa-Thema, and the Artisan & Skills Development Centre, accessibility and variety are central to its approach.

At the core of EEC’s academic provision are National Certificate Vocational (NCV) programmes and Report 191 / NATED courses. The NCV stream provides full‑time vocational qualifications (from Levels 2 to 4), giving students from Grade 9 onwards training in fields such as Business Studies (Finance, Marketing, Office Administration, Information & Communication Technology), Engineering Studies (Civil Engineering, Electrical Infrastructure, Process Plant Operations, Engineering Design), as well as Hospitality and Tourism.

For those who have completed matric or an NCV Level 4, the Report 191 (NATED) programmes are ideal. These include higher‑level business and service courses like Financial Management, Marketing Management, Human Resources Management, Management Assistance, as well as Report 191 engineering courses in Electrical (light and heavy current), Mechanical, and Civil Engineering.

EEC also recognizes that not everyone seeks a multi‐year qualification. So it provides short skills courses (lasting from about one to nine months) and occupational programmes and learnerships focused on trades such as boilermaking, automotive skills, basic plumbing, air‑conditioning & refrigeration, electrical work, welding, and components of community building like tiling, flooring, glazing, and solar water heating. These practical offerings make it possible to gain employable skills or enhance existing ones more quickly.
