Coastal College Application Requirements
All applicants are required to provide these documents during the application process.
- Latest school results and results from any other educational institution (end-of-year results).
- ID document of Applicant. Similarly, foreign students must provide their certified passports.
- ID document of parent(s) or guardian(s)
- A unique Email address as well as a cellphone number.
- Study Permit. Only foreign students.
Admission Criteria For New Enrolments
- Students who apply and enrol for Report 191 Business Studies – N4-NS must have passed either NCV Level 4 (21 subjects – from L2-L4), or have obtained a National Senior Certificate (Matric).
- Students applying for the Management Assistant N4 program, students must have passed Grade 12 Typing or Compu-typing.
- Students who wish to read the Financial Management N4 program must have passed Grade 12 Accounting, or must enrol for the Introductory Business Studies N4 program for the first Semester and do the Introductory Accounting N4 in the second Semester, and may proceed to the N4 program if he/she successfully passed the introductory program.
- Students who wish to enrol for Report 191 Engineering Studies N2 must have passed at least Grade 10-Grade 12 Mathematics (and not Mathematical Literacy)
- Electrical engineering students may, on applying for employment, be required to pass a Colour competency test.
