Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12/Matric/Equivalent together with a N3 Certificate, plus a Trade Test Certificate in the relevant
  trade and a Generic Assessor Certificate.
• A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification industrial experience and a minimum of 3 years’
• experience in facilitation/training for apprenticeships/learnerships.

Recommendations:

• Knowledge and experience in assessing QCTO National Trade Tests
• Knowledge and experience in moderating QCTO National Trade Tests
• Knowledge and experience in conducting QCTO ARPL Assessments
• Moderator Generic Certificate
• Knowledge of SAQA, NQF, Skills Development Act, FET Act, and Learnerships.
• Excellent Communication and Verbal delivery skills
• Computer Literacy (MS Office)
• National Diploma in the relevant trade
• An appropriate Professional Education Qualification

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assessment of trade test candidates in the relevant trade.
• Moderation of trade test candidates in the relevant trade
• Conduct a pre-assessment meeting with the trade test candidates
• Provide feedback to trade test candidates on assessment outcomes
• Populate and complete trade test documents for submission to the Trade Test
• Conduct ARPL Assessments, as required.
• Available when required for external or internal monitoring, audits, and verification processes of assessments
• Maintain updated personal registration records, and as per accreditation quality assurance requirements
