Vuselela TVET College offers an opportunity for students who are passionate about education and wish to build a rewarding career in the teaching field. The college provides a Full-Time National Certificate (Vocational) in Education and Development, designed to equip learners with the right skills, knowledge, and practical foundation needed to succeed as future educators. This course is aimed at students who see teaching not just as a profession but as a calling to inspire and nurture the next generation.

To acquire the NCV in Education and Development, students are required to complete seven (7) subjects.  Three (3) of these are compulsory, namely English First Additional Language, Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy, and Life Orientation. Along with the compulsory subjects, students will also select four vocational subjects under the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). This mix helps them gain both academic knowledge and practical skills for further studies or to enter the education field directly.

The course runs over three years, covering NQF Levels 2, 3, and 4. Students can exit at any level and receive a certificate, making it flexible to individual needs. Vuselela Teaching Course

The NC(V) is a practical and high-quality programme created to meet modern skills needs. Minimum Entry Requirement

• A year-end school report for Grades 9, 10, and 11 or a Grade 12 Certificate
• NQF Level 1 qualification
• An approved bridging programme designed for the specific purpose of accessing NQF Level 2
• AET Level 4

Vuselela College Application Requirements

The following are required when applying to the college:

• Certified copy of your Identity Document
• Certified copy of your highest qualification. Grade 12 learners must attach a certified copy of their Grade 11 final results and June or September Grade 12 results
• Proof of residential address of parents/guardian or municipal account
• Only persons with a disability – Proof of Disability / Medical Certificate
• Proof of residential address
