Vuselela TVET College Taung Campus is one of the five campuses of Vuselela TVET College, formed in 2002 after the merger of four technical colleges. This was part of South Africa’s plan to strengthen vocational education and provide more practical, industry-focused skills.
Located 226 km from the Central Office, and led by Acting Campus Manager G. Thejane, the Taung Campus offers programmes in Engineering Studies, Business Studies, and General Utilities.

These courses are designed to give students the knowledge and hands-on training they need to reach their career goals. Each programme at Taung Campus is designed to meet industry needs and focus on scarce skills, helping graduates add value to their communities and the economy. The campus combines theory with practical training, giving students both knowledge and hands-on experience.

This prepares them for jobs, further studies, or even starting their own businesses. As one of the five campuses of Vuselela TVET College in the North West Province, Taung Campus plays an important role in bringing education closer to its community and making vocational training accessible and relevant.
