Is Motheo Open For Application 2026
As the academic year 2026 draws nearer, many prospective students are asking the question, if Motheo TVET College open for applications yet? The answer is yes. Motheo has officially opened its application portal for the 2026 academic intake. From September 1, 2025, applicants are able to submit their forms online, and the deadline for most programmes is November 30, 2025. It is important to note that this window applies to both new and returning students, including those who may have applied before but were not accepted, or learners changing qualifications.
If you are considering applying, you will want to put together your supporting documents ahead of time, certified copies of your most recent school results, proof of identity/residence, and possibly foreign qualification evaluations if you’re not a South African citizen. There may also be application or registration fees, depending on your status.
Because Motheo provides a variety of programmes, vocational, engineering, business studies, and more, the popular ones tend to fill up quickly. For that reason, it is best not to wait until the last minute. Applying early gives you more time to ensure everything is in order and to increase your chances of being accepted.
