Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges play a vital role in equipping young people and adults with the practical skills and knowledge needed to thrive in various industries. These institutions serve as a bridge between education and the labor market, addressing skills shortages and promoting economic growth. As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the quality and efficiency of training delivery at TVET colleges, we are inviting qualified suppliers and service providers to submit quotations for goods and services that support this mission.

This Request for Quotation (RFQ) outlines our specific requirements and expectations for the provision of goods and services that align with the operational, infrastructural, and academic needs of TVET colleges. Whether it involves the supply of technical training equipment, ICT infrastructure, workshop tools, learning materials, or professional services, the goal is to enhance the overall learning environment and ensure students receive industry-relevant training.

Suppliers are encouraged to carefully review the scope of work and respond with competitive, clear, and comprehensive quotations. We are looking for reliable partners who not only meet the technical specifications but also understand the value of quality education and skills development in shaping the future workforce.

  • Obtain feedback, then evaluate the outcomes.
  • Choose a reputable supplier.
  • Advise ineffective vendors.

Why is the Request for Quotation important?

An RFQ is a form that requests pricing information from vendors for their goods or services. You may evaluate the costs, quality, and deliverability that various businesses have to offer. For organizations that are clear about what they require and wish to compare, this document is useful.

Is a Request for Quotation an offer?

Although quotations provided in response to an RFQ are not offers and may not be accepted by the government to create a legally enforceable contract, RFQs are often used by the government to express its requirements. The offer is actually contained in the Schedule order, not the quote.
