There are 50 registered and accredited public TVET Colleges in South Africa which operate on approximately 364 campuses spread across the rural and urban areas of South Africa. Applying online to a Tvet college is a remote way where interested and qualified applicants can apply for admission using the application portal of the college. For the year 2023/2024, Tvet Colleges will be opening for applications from the 1st of April and the application will be closing on the 30th of November.
Tvet Colleges enables students to use their entrepreneurial abilities by starting new enterprises. TVETs are the platform for a new skills revolution since the world lacks the engineering, industrial, construction, agricultural, and other skills required to develop a viable economy. The training can be as short as a few hours or as long as a three-year formal diploma program. Although most courses need full-time attendance, others can be completed via distance learning or blended learning, which combines in-person instruction with electronic delivery and self-study.
Programmes offered in Tvet are inherently vocational or occupational in character. In that instance, education and training are provided to the student with the intention that they would pursue a certain group of careers, work options, or business chances. Tvet Colleges may have varying application open dates and deadlines depending on the college and the semester an applicant is applying for. In most circumstances, applications for Tvet colleges are accepted from April 1st through to November 30th.

First-time applicants applying for admission to any of the Tvet Colleges are to provide the following documents:
