Kathu College also known as Namaqualand Campus is one of the Campus Northen Cape Rural TVET College which has a styudenty capacity of 580, 27 lecturing staff, 14 support staff and 31 classrooms.Students have the opportunity to qualify in world class workshops that has been accredited by NAMB and QCTO at Kathu. The college strive for academic excellence by being the best campus in the Northern Cape and compete with the best in the country as a whole and also uplift education in the Northern Cape, by equipping all students with fundamental skills.

Kathu College Admission Requirements
- Pre-Matric Business Studies (NCV) : Minimum: Grade 9 or equivalent required
- Pre-Matric Engineering (NCV) : Minimum: Grade 9 or equivalent required
- Post-Matric Business Studies (Nated) : Minimum: Grade 12 or equivalent
- Post-Matric Engineering (Nated): Minimum: Grade 12 with Maths & Science
