How Much Is TVET Colleges Online Application Fee For 2026/2027

There are 50 registered and accredited public TVET Colleges in South Africa, which operate on approximately 364 campuses spread across the rural and urban areas of the country. The Tvet colleges are dedicated to providing high-quality education and training to students in order to assist them in achieving the skills and competencies they need to begin their careers. Students get crucial life skills that equip them to confront the various demands of the working economy of the world.

Applying for most of the TVET Colleges in South Africa is absolutely free. Applicants don’t need to pay a dime to be admitted into most of the TVET Colleges. The TVET Colleges have also made it possible for their students to apply for financial aid like the NSFAS and more. Based on the applicant’s interest in the institution and semester, the application date open and closing date may vary; however, applications for the 2026/2027 academic year for TVET Colleges will be open from the 1st of April and will be closing on the 30th of November.

Courses offered at TVET Colleges are inherently vocational or occupational in character. In other words, education and training are provided to the student with the intention that they would pursue a certain group of careers, work options, or business opportunities. You can obtain the practical and occupational skills required to work in the Mpumalanga province and in South Africa as a whole by obtaining a TVET qualification.

Tvet College Online Application Requirements 2026/2027

First-time applicants applying for admission to any of the TVET Colleges are to provide the following documents:

South African Citizens

  • A certified copy of your ID
  • Latest school results
  • Proof of Residence
  • Valid Email Address

International Students

  • Certified copies of passport
  • SAQA-approved foreign qualifications
  • Proof of medical insurance or cover
  • Valid study permit

Tvet College Online Application Process 2026/2027

Tvet colleges that are open for the 2023 academic year are still accepting applications. To apply, follow the process provided:

  • To obtain an application form, go to the college’s website.
  • Fill in the blanks.
  • Choose a course that corresponds to your qualifications.
  • Provide all necessary documentation, such as a valid identification card, certified results, or a certificate.
  • Where relevant, provide identification of parents and/or guardians, as well as a death certificate.
  • Where applicable, international students must present their passport ID.
