Due to its transportation economies on land, sea, and air, Durban serves as the primary port for the province of KwaZulu-Natal. A public TVET college called Thekwini TVET College was established in KwaZulu-Natal by combining three earlier technical colleges. As a public technical and vocational education and training institution, Thekwini TVET College works to achieve its mission of skills development through excellent teaching and learning and efficient corporate administration. The school promises to deliver excellent, inclusive technical and vocational education and training in order to prepare its students for active participation in South Africa’s economic and social growth.
