What is NCV?
- A vocationally orientated programme
- Allows learners to progress from General Education & Training (Grade 9) to further learning along a vocational path
- Involves an outcomes-based approach to education and is NQF-aligned
- A unit standard-based programme including in-service/on-the-job simulated practical training, together with a theoretical component
- Equips learners with knowledge, skills, values and attitudes in vocations required to be successful in the working world
- One-year programmes, available at three levels:
