Motheo TVET College Online Application Requirements 2026/2027
Online applicants applying for admission into the 2023 academic year are to upload and have the following documents:
- Three certified copies of ID/Passport/Birth Certificate
- Three certified copies of the ID of the Parent/Legal Guardian
- One ID-size photo
- Copy Certified of the latest school report/Grade 9 or Higher
- A unique Email address and cellphone number
Requirements For Foreign students:
- Certified copy of Passport indicating approval to study at Motheo TVET College
- The full amount of class fees
Applications and admission requirements:
National Certificate (Vocational) NQF Levels 2 – 4:
- NC(V) LQF Level 2:
- Gr 9 or 12
Report 191 National Certificate N4 (Business and General Studies):
- Gr 12
- N3
- NQF Level 4
Report 191 National Certificate in Engineering N4:
- Gr 12 with Mathematics and Science
- N3 Engineering
- NQF Level 4
For post-Grade 12 programmes, applicants must have passed Grade 12/N3/NQF Level 4 or its equivalent. Registration documents
During the application, the following documents must be available:
- a certified copy of the latest school results
- a certified copy of the Identity Document
- necessary registration fee

The steps below are the procedures to follow in applying to Motheo Tvet College:

- Pay a non-refundable registration fee of R100 or a late application fee of R200, therefore, ensure that you meet the minimum requirements before applying. Payment details are on the application form. This does not guarantee your admission.
- Submit the form through the application portal or to the campus you wish to study with, together with your certified ID copy, latest school results, ID copy of parent/Guardian and proof of payment.
- Foreign candidates have the responsibility of evaluating their qualifications with SAQA before applying; No foreign students will be accepted if this is not done.
