Phalaborwa TVET College’s application date is open from the 1st of September to the 30th of September for every academic year.

Note:

Students who are planning to apply should confirm the closing dates for applications and registrations with their chosen campus, as dates may differ. Registration for NC(V) programmes is available only in January each year. For NATED programmes, the intake happens twice a year in January and July for Business Studies, and three times a year in January, May and September for Engineering Studies. The Occupational programmes offered at Mošate Hotel School are also open for new students every semester in January and July.

To apply online to study at Phalaborwa TVET College for the 2026-2027 academic year, applicants are to provide the following documents alongside their applications:

  • Grade 9-12( National Certificate) year-end school report Or
  • An NQF Level qualification
  • All Engineering Programme students must have Mathematics, not Mathematics Literacy
  • Proof of payment of your registration fee(compulsory for SA and International applicants), a Certified copy of your ID Document(ID Document compulsory for SA Citizens- your application cannot be processed without a certified copy of your ID and Passport Number for International Applicants
  • Remember, you will need a unique email address when applying either online or in a hard copy.
