Ekurhuleni West TVET College, a well‑established technical and vocational institution in Gauteng, has begun its registration process for the 2026 academic year. Prospective students, both new and returning, are encouraged to apply as the online application portal is now open.

The application window for 2026 opened on 1 September 2025 and will run through to 30 September 2025; this includes the period for regular applications. After that, a late application phase will be available for those who missed the initial deadline, usually for programs that still have space.

Applicants should note that the college provides a range of NC(V) and NATED programs spread across its multiple campuses (such as Germiston, Boksburg, Alberton, Kathorus, Kempton Park, and Tembisa). Supporting documents, like certified copies of academic results, a form of identification (South African ID or passport), proof of residence, and, in some cases, additional qualification verification, are required.

The administration of Ekurhuleni West TVET College has made it possible for new and returning students to register for courses for the upcoming semester at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels through the student registration portal. The registration process and the closure of the registration portal both have fixed dates and deadlines. Early registration is advised to avoid losing your place as an EWC student because late registration is not allowed.  EWC registration

The university always sets a registration submission deadline for registering for courses and modules for the semester. This deadline is known as the registration deadline or closing date. After the student registration portal opens, South African universities and colleges often have submission deadlines that are 2–1 months away.
