Can I Apply At CJC Without Matric
Not having a matric certificate often leaves many young people wondering if their chances of studying further are limited. At Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC), the answer is encouraging; you can still apply for certain programmes without matric. CJC understands that not every student follows the same educational path, and for this reason, the college provides alternative study opportunities that allow individuals to continue learning and building their future.
Through the National Certificate (Vocational), also known as NC(V) programmes, CJC makes it possible for students who have at least completed Grade 9 to enrol. These courses are designed to give learners both theoretical knowledge and practical training in various fields, helping them develop employable skills. The NC(V) programmes serve as an excellent alternative to the traditional matric certificate, giving students a recognised qualification and preparing them either for the workplace or for further studies.
In addition to NC(V) courses, CJC also offers skills training and short courses that do not require matric. These are aimed at equipping students with specific abilities in trades and occupations where practical skills are highly valued. This flexibility ensures that everyone, regardless of their educational background, has a chance to access quality education. So, if you have been asking yourself whether you can study at CJC without matric, the answer is yes. The college provides multiple learning pathways that allow you to gain the knowledge, skills, and qualifications you need to improve your career prospects.
