TVET Colleges Application Open Date for 2026

Depending on the college and the semester a candidate is enrolling for, TVET Colleges may have different application deadlines. In normal cases, applications are accepted beginning on April 1 and ending on November 30. Applications may be submitted during this time, but it is highly recommended that you visit the college’s official website to know exactly when applications are open and closed.

Admission Requirements when applying to TVET colleges

All qualified applicants wanting to study at the College must make sure they have the following available before attempting to apply:

  • Applicant must have an active email account(note: an applicant without an email will not be admitted.
  • The applicant should make sure they qualify for a particular course before applying
  • All applicants should be 16years and above and must provide a valid ID to prove
  • Applicants should provide original or copied certified results or qualifications
  • The certified ID of parents or Guardians
  • Medical proof of your condition.
  • Complete and sign the disability form
  • foreign applicant should submit their passport ID
  • SAQA approve
  • Studying permit

 Tvet Colleges Application Procedure for 2026

Step 1: Get your application form first.

All new applications are now available online:

Step 2: Fill out the application form completely.

Step 3: Ensure that all supporting documents are attached.

All applicants who are beginning a new qualification must submit the following certified documents:

  • Birth Certificate/Identity Document (Proof of New ID/Passport Application)
  • Certificates/Qualifications
  • Recent Academic Achievements
  • Other account statements/billing documents for municipalities (not older than 3 months)
  • A current study permit (for Foreign national students)
  • The Evaluation Certificate of the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) (foreign qualifications).

Step 4: Fill out and submit your application.
