How Do I Apply For Residence At CJC?
Starting your academic journey at Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) is an exciting step, and securing accommodation is an important part of that process. Whether you are from another province or simply looking for a more convenient living arrangement close to campus, applying for residence at CJC can help make your student life more comfortable and focused. Understanding how the application process works is essential so that you don’t miss any important steps or deadlines.
CJC provides limited residence facilities, which means space is often in high demand. That is why it is important to apply early and make sure all your documents are in order. The residence is generally available to full-time students, and preference may be given to those who live far from the campus or are facing financial difficulties.
The process usually starts once you have successfully applied and been accepted into one of CJC’s academic programmes. After that, you will need to inquire directly with the Student Support Services office or visit the campus’s residence office to collect an application form. In some cases, the residence application form may be available online during certain periods of the year.
Make sure to provide all the required supporting documents, such as your proof of registration, certified ID copy, and possibly a motivation letter explaining your need for accommodation. Keep an eye on deadlines and ask for help if you are unsure about any part of the process. College staff are there to guide you.
