Do You Pay Fees at iCOLLEGE?

When considering furthering your education, one of the most important questions that comes up is, do you have to pay fees? If you are looking into iCOLLEGE, a popular choice for many South African students, you might be wondering whether it is truly free or if there are hidden costs involved. The good news is, iCOLLEGE has become well-known for its approach to providing free education opportunities, but there is more to it .

iCOLLEGE is a private education provider that partners with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) and other government-related entities to offer sponsored skills development programs. This means that many of their courses are fully funded, particularly for students who qualify under certain criteria. In most cases, students do not pay tuition fees, especially if they are part of the government-sponsored programs. Instead, all learning material, registration, and training are covered through these partnerships.

However, it is important to understand that “free” does not always mean completely without cost. Depending on your situation, you might have to cover small administrative fees, personal expenses (like transport), or accommodation if you are studying away from home. That said, compared to many private colleges, iCOLLEGE offers a much more accessible and affordable route to education and skills training.

These Requirements must be met by all applicants for a PROGRAM:

  • South African citizen
  • Between the ages of 18-27
  • Unemployed

Please be aware that students who are accepted into a PROGRAM are not permitted to work or receive UIF throughout the COURSE.

Every PROGRAM is offered full-time for 12 months. icollege de-registration.  college courses with matric
